Flood Control and Water Resources
Purpose: Monitor flood control and water resources legislation, and prepare policy and technical positions on flood control and water resources issues.

Purpose: Monitor land use legislation and prepare policy and technical positions on land use Issues.

Oversight & Special Tasks
Purpose: Recommend changes in the bylaws and operation procedures of CEAC. Develop and recommend the Annual Overall Work Program and work with CSAC staff to identify the issues of importance to the County Engineers Association of California. Recommend distribution to the appropriate committee membership. Monitor the performance under the agreement with CSAC.

Solid Waste Management
Purpose: Monitor solid waste legislation and prepare policy and technical positions on Solid Waste issues. Report to CEAC the activities of the Integrated Waste Management Board and other regulatory agencies

Surveyor
Purpose: Monitor surveyor legislation and prepare policy and technical positions on Surveyor issues.

Transportation
Purpose: Monitor transportation legislation, the CEAC Work Program and other information to develop and recommend CEAC and/or CSAC transportation policy. Recommend transportation legislation and positions on legislation being considered. Review and make recommendations regarding proposed administrative regulations or actions, which improve county transportation.
