The Regional Targets Advisory Committee (RTAC) released its final report on September 29, 2009.
The report recommends to the Air Resources Board a methodology for setting regional greenhouse gas reduction targets from passenger vehicles. The RTAC report will be presented to the Air Resource Board at a regularly scheduled Board meeting on November 19, 2009.
ARB must adopt regional greenhouse gas reduction targets by September of 2010, in accordance with SB 375. A copy of the report can be found at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/sb375/rtac/report/092909/finalreport.pdf.
