The
Resources Agency and the California Department of Water Resources are
pleased to announce the joint release of the Public
Review Draft Guidelines and Application [PDF: 502KB] for the California River
Parkways and the Urban Streams
Restoration grant programs.
Funding
for both programs is to be made available through the Safe Drinking Water,
Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Bond Act
of 2006 (Proposition 84).

Technical assistance
workshops are being planned for September 2008* to answer procedural and
application questions. Workshop details and application timelines will be
announced upon release of the final solicitation notice.
*Proposed available
funding and timelines are contingent upon enactment of the FY 2008-09
budget.
