Engineer of the Year (Ed Hanna Award)
Annual “Ed Hanna” Engineer of the Year awards are presented to an “Active Member” who has made an outstanding contribution to the County engineering profession and to CEAC activity. Deadline to nominate: September 15, 2023.
Surveyor of the Year
The annual CEAC Surveyor of the Year award shall be presented to an “Active Member” who has made an outstanding contribution to the County Surveying profession and to CEAC activity. Deadline to nominate: September 15, 2023.
William D. McIntosh Lifetime Achievement Award
The William B McIntosh Lifetime Achievement Award is a special recognition awarded to a CEAC member of long standing who has made significant contributions over a period of years which have improved the practice of county engineering, introduced activities and programs to assure the continued viability of CEAC, enhanced the professional stature of the Association, and increased the ability of the Association to provide desirable and necessary public works for the people of California.
Buffalo Bull Award
The Buffalo Bull Award is awarded annually by the CLODS for the most inexplicable and incomprehensible contribution to County Engineering in California.
Buddy Award
The CEAC Buddy Award is presented to the spouse of a county engineer for his/her dedication, support and love for his/her spouse.
Chic’s Golden Egg Award
The CHICS Golden Egg Award was created in 2007 by California’s Honorable Intrepid County Sisters.
NACE David P. Brand Safety Award
The David P. Brand Safety Award was created in 2016 by the National Association of County Engineers.
Outstanding Local Streets and Roads Project Awards Program
The Outstanding Local Streets and Roads Project Awards Program was created in 2014 by the California State Association of Counties, League of California Cities and the County Engineers Association of California. The Awards Program was developed to recognize and raise awareness of the exceptional achievements made by California’s cities and counties to preserve and protect the public’s investment in the local street and road system.
